Christian Hip Hop artist Angie Rose recently shared a recap of her and her team’s work so far to help bring restoration to families in Puerto Rico.
After the devastating hurricane season in 2017, the small island was ravished by the storms Hurricane Irma and Maria, leaving thousands of families displaced or homeless and millions without power.
Angie Rose is of Puerto Rican heritage and though she grew up in the Bronx, she had a vision to start a movement that “is touching the island everyday.” With nine distribution sites and a community center under construction, Rose and her team show in their video the impact that they’re making on the Puerto Rican community for the glory of God.
“My team and I have experience prayers answered, because of a faith that has changed our world. Funny, we touched the island to bring change, and left forever transformed,” Rose shares in the video.”
Unstoppable Threadz not only carries faith based and inspirational clothing and accessories, it’s created with a purpose to give back. Fifty percent of all profit supports Unstoapple Threadz’s work in Puerto Rico. Through offering “hope, love, food, light and good music” to the people they meet, they are also helping meet everyday needs on the road to the country’s recovery.
Angie Rose believes that the love can change the world. With supporting the Unstoppable Threadz movement, you can too make that happen. There are several ways to get involved from buying t-shirts from the threadz shop, making a direct donation, or joining the movement.
“This tragedy is not going to be something that breaks us, this is going to be the thing that builds us, what makes us stronger.”
