ArtSoul Spotlight: Looking For New Hip Hop Music? NoBigDyl’s New Album is Coming

Hailing from middle Tennessee, No BigDyl is a rapper and spoken word artist.  Reminiscent of Childish Gambino, Chance The Rapper and Kendrick Lamar, mixed with a lot of himself, we think he is an artist you should know!  No Big Dyl may be a new up and coming artist, but similar to most independent artists, he has been grinding for years!

No BigDyl has been making waves since the release of his debut album, “Smoke Signal” in 2015.  Since that time, he has released an EP entitled, Summer Camp Sessions, and has been featured on Derek Minor’s award-winning album, Empire. He has also opened for various artists including Canon, B. Cooper, and Derek Minor.

Interesting Fact:  No BigDyl was previously Derek Minor’s road manager.  But, Minor fired him after realizing he’s a much better artist who he thought should be using his gift.  Derek Minor later featured him on his award-winning album Empire.
