Leah Smith Releases New Album, Tenderheaded

The Philly bred songstress Leah Smith is back with new music!  You may remember her popular singles, “Beautiful” or  “Grow Up”.  For those who have been following her journey, this release is exactly what we have been waiting for!  Her latest album, “Tender headed” released #12 on iTunes sitting in the top 20 list along with artists such as  @ellamai, @iamcardib, Ne-Yo and more!

The early release of Leah’s music is no surprise to us.  She has musical success in her bones!  If you are new to Leah’s work, we’ll quickly get you caught up!  Leah Smith has been singing since 9 years old, and writing since 11 years old… all of which led to her attending the prestigious Phillidelphia high school for Creative and Performing arts where other artists such as Jazmine Sullivan and Boyz2Men also attended.  Classically trained, Leah’s favorite instrument is the piano.  She is known for her time as a background singer for Israel Houghton and has since been compared to India Airie and Alicia Keys.

Leah has shared the stage with Aretha Franklin, Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, Musiq Soulchild and more.  Leah takes her music seriously and writes with the intention of bringing change to the lives of her listeners.  Leah shared with BET that her music is “designed to bring confidence to young and men and women.”  Leah has remained committed to the purpose behind what she does, and it is consistently be seen in every new release that she puts out.
