Dee-1 releases inspirational message and video for “Love Always Wins” featuring Sevyn Streeter

Recent events in our world may have us asking what’s going on in our society? Why is there so much hate everywhere? Despite what he sees, rapper Dee-1 shares the ultimate law: “Love Always Wins.” Dee-1’s message of hope is illustrated in his newest music video which debuted today.

Back and forth and round and round again
Living in a world where everybody ain’t your friend
And gravity keeps pulling me, it’s taking all my energy
I seem to feed, and I don’t know what’s left of me
But, I know love will always win

Accompanied by R&B songstress Sevyn Streeter on the hook and chorus, Dee-1 uncovers his personal flaws before rhyming about what we see in society today:

Nowadays, these kids don’t even dream
Turn on the TV screen, every scene is obscene
Too many false prophets, demons with deals
Cowards with guns thinking they real

As Dee-1 called the song “an anthem,” it’s also an on-time visual to accompany a powerful, inspirational song that relates to how we’re feeling in our generation.
