It’s refreshing that Milliyon “ain’t never tried to hide Christ,” he declared on a past release. “Pulse” is no different.
Millioyon’s new single features a melodic, yet up-tempo hook sung well by Evan Ford, however, it’s the verses that do most of the heavy lifting. In place of the standard 16 bar verses, Milliyon ops for longer verses to get his point across.
“I don’t need a bunch of Facebook likes, just my face in your book and my life’s all right/just a stage and a mic just to scream all night, and tell em about your grace and your plan for their life,”
“Pulse” is more than a song, it’s a declaration. It’s a statement. It’s honoring God with the recognition he deserves as being the one that sustains us.
