Phillip Johnson Jr. Offers Hope when Marriage gets “Complicated” in new song
“Complicated” is a song about the intimacy struggles couples face in marriage that we are too afraid or embarrassed to expose and discuss as Christians. The inspiration for the song came from a season in my own marriage where my wife and I faced challenges in our intimacy with one another both physically and emotionally; in other words things became, complicated. My hope is that this song will help open the door for open and honest conversation about intimacy struggles in marriage and help couples know they are not alone and communication about this topic can be healthy and lead to healing.
