Suleky Roman Talks Her Role in NYC CHH Concert Scene
It wouldn’t be far fetched to dub Suleky Roman as the woman behind the curtain, and then some.
DJ Wade-O recently interviewed the event promoter, curator and show producer; responsible for several highly rated and reviewed concerts in New York City. Her credits include Andy Mineo’s Formerly Known mixtape release party; NYC dates for the Northern Lights Tour, God Belongs in My City Tour, PIA 2015 Tour, and The Sessions Tour.
In the interview DJ Wade-O and Roman discuss topics like what makes a good show, navigating the rough NYC music scene, the science of the garnering the “right crowd,” and how she chooses artists for her events.
“At the beginning, the formula was mingling non-Christian and Christian artists together with similar styles…and everybody came into the room. And that was my ministry, that’s my outreach, that’s what I love to do,” she told Wade-O Radio.
