Tina Campbell releases “Too Hard Not Too”
Tina Campbell, one half of the duo Mary Mary, has had her share of ups and downs.
In her recent solo releases, she has drawn from real life experiences. Campbell’s new song, “Too Hard Not To” echoes the “70 times seven” example of forgiveness that Jesus stressed in Matthew 18:21-22.
In 2015, Campbell made public the infidelity of her husband, Teddy Campbell. Though the song may not speak to that time in her life, the Campbell’s were able to work through that rough patch in their marriage and use it as a testimony to move forward in forgiveness through Christ. This hard truth that our heavenly Father has forgiven us more than we could imagine is same forgiveness we have from God through Christ should be extended to others.
