V. Rose Signals “SOS”
Vienna Rose, better known as V. Rose, recently released her latest single entitled “SOS.” The former Clear Sight Music artist is signaling a distress call to listeners, specifically singing,
“I’m not okay, don’t know what to say, don’t you hear me praying?”
The ironically upbeat and up-tempo track has a gloomy and sorrowful message and undertone. The topic of pain, anguish and overall mental health is thankfully being spoken about more and more in music as artists are becoming more transparent about what they go through. Though V. Rose doesn’t go into detail about what is causing her to not be okay, just being honest about her current state is what makes “SOS” so good.
Ultimately, V. Rose is reminding us to seek God and listen for His response in the midst of our suffering.
“SOS” is the first release in a while for the songstress since her 2016 LP, Young Dangerous Heart, but she’s been hard at work on the road touring with a variety of artists.
