Tamera and Adam speak candidly about their relationship and real life love story! Being in a long term relationship, Tamera and Adam had their share of challenges which included a break up. But, even in that time apart, they couldn’t shake their feelings for each other and eventually got back together in 2010. After dating for almost 6 years, Adam proposed during their trip to Italy. Lucky for him she still said yes! They have been happily married for over 8 years and have two children.

After announcing their engagement, the couple faced quite a bit of public scrutiny for being in an interracial relationship. It was all very surprising and painful to the couple. Tamera was accused of not being black enough for choosing to marry a white man. Also, Adam was later accused of not liking African Americans because of his affiliation with a certain TV network at the time. None of the anger or hatred made sense to either of them. Coming from a biracial family with a white Father, Tamera responded to the public hatred by saying that she’s proud of her relationship with Adam because it was built on real love. It’s their true love that helped them get through every challenge they faced in their relationship and led them to where they are today. They have a beautiful story.
