ArtSoul Spotlight: Angie Rose Is Golden
Today we put the Spotlight on Angie Rose! This NYC based female emcee and singer/songwriter from the Bronx has been grinding for years with much success! She has caught the eye of both mainstream FM Radio, CHH, other Christian platforms and more! Many may remember her appearances with DJ Wadeo, “Sway In The Morning”, DJ Tony Tone of Hot 97 in NYC and many more. No matter where she shows up, she leaves a lasting impression that speaks not just to her music, but also to her character and professionalism. Angie is about her business! Lyrically, few male or females emcees can freestyle like this this one! In 2014, DJ Wadeo threw Angie the challenge of freestyle to a random beat that left everyone watching this emcee. Needless to say, she killed Wadeo’s challenge with ease. Watch the video below. It still carries over 30K views and counting! Four years later, Angie continues to captivate her both Christian and secular markets. Old and new fans are continuing to recognize her grit and consistent grind.

Beyond her music, Angie is determined to change the world one step at a time. This has always been clearly seen in her consistent efforts with missions. Angie’s mission of making a difference led her to begin the “Unstoppable Movement” where she turned her testimony of addiction, pain and transformation into inspiration for many others who have now come forward with their stories. Angie encourages her “Unstoppable” fans (or familia as she calls them) to keep going through their trials and reminds them that their past doesn’t have to define them or slow their destiny.
In 2017, Angie mobilized her fans to give back to Puerto Rico after the area suffered huge loss from Hurricane Maria. That historic hurricane was regarded as the worst natural disaster on record in Dominica and Puerto Rico, and was listed as the tenth-most intense Atlantic hurricane on record that hit the area. Millions were left in a severe place of need in Puerto Rico. But, Angie’s efforts of rallying her followers helped her give towards the area when it was needed the most. Angie recorded footage of her time in Puerto Rico and shared it with her fans online showing them the impact their prayers and gifts had in the area. Her efforts were also acknowledged in her home town on “News 12 The Bronx” as they highlighted her in their “Best Of The Bronx” segment.

Angie Rose and her “Unstoppable Movement” is just getting started! With recent talks of her being in the studio writing new music, we don’t see her slowing down any time soon! In 2017, Spotify gave us a picture of her success for that year alone by listing that she received well over 600,000 streams from her fans in over 57 countries, stating that her fans could fill Madison Square Garden for 4 nights straight! That puts things into perspective! It’s clear that Angie has the talent, the grind and the passion along the numbers to show that she’s not just “Unstoppable”, she’s golden!
