EVENT NEWS: The Chante Cann & Friends Tour Is Heading To Chicago! (Ft. STOUT & Chinaa Orr)
Top 10 Billboard Jazz Soul Vocalist Chante Cann is scheduled to be in Hyde Park Chicago at The Promontory to gift us all early for the holidays with her voice! But, she’s not coming alone. This time she’ll be sharing the stage with STOUT who was previously a background singer for Alicia Keys and has shared the stage Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Carlos Santana, Missy Elliot, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Lenny Krantz, John Mayer, Cory Henry and The Funk Apostles and many more.

The night will open with Chicago’s own Chinaa Orr. Chinaa is an up and coming singer/songwriter with a powerful, yet graceful sound. Known to enchant audiences with a message of self-discovery and empowerment. Chinaa has a story to tell. She believes in creating safe spaces for her audiences while providing a musical experience with nods to gospel, soul, r&b music. Every song is lined with vulnerability, honesty, and power. Her goal is to tell stories within her music; to leave her audience with an open heart and open mind. Chinaa’s here to push freedom & defy limits one melody at a time.

Chantae is not a novice to the industry. She has been blessed to travel the world as a background vocalist (10+ years) with India Arie and others. She’s had the tremendous honor of collaborating with artists/bands such as, Snarky Puppy, Masego, PJ Morton, Jonathan McReynolds and The Foreign Exchange. Chantae has toured the world as a solo artist, most recently opening for India. Arie on the Worthy Tour and Rashaan Patterson’s Euro Tour. Chantae will be releasing a single in the fall.
