Carrying a unique and nostalgic sound inspired by crooners and jazz greats such as Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald mixed with soulful sounds reminiscent of more recent artists such as Chrisette-Michelle and Macy Gray, Britney Delagraentiss (simply known as Delagraentiss) is in her own lane and she is owning it well!

At the top of December, she released her official first single, “Follow” (produced by Jonathan McReynolds).  If you’re looking for new music, you will not be disappointed!

While this is Britney’s first official single, she is not a newcomer to the industry.  She has opened for Jonathan McReynolds in Baton Rouge, LA and has also opened for Michelle Williams at the Amsterdam Gospelfest in the Netherlands.  In addition to those great opportunities, Delagraentiss has traveled as a previous background singer for Jonathan McReynolds, and in just this year alone, she has been seen performing her original songs on the same ticket as Todd Dulaney, Tina Campbell Jermaine Dolly, Jonathan Butler and more!  In this same year, she has also performed for events at both the Stellar awards and the Dove awards.  Now, she’s ending the year pretty well with her new single release!  She’s been busy this year, but it’s clearly paying off!

Currently based in Chicago (a mecca for songwriters), Delagraentiss has become known for her uniqueness and authenticity which can be seen in her lyrics and felt in her performance.  Her songs explore themes of identity, growth, brokenness, and healing that comes from God’s love.  Her debut album, Mosaic is coming soon, and we’re already excited to hear what’s next!  Until then, check out her current single below:

WHATUPRG Welcomes You To A New Hollywood with his new KIDS single!

Millennials and Gen Zs are terms used to describe the people of a certain time. The new generation, coming of age today, isn’t waiting for a tagline. They are emerging into a digital age, during a pandemic, and with World War III looming, redefining themselves.

Today’s generation has grown up with Uber/Lift, Airbnb, YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat and more. Music, movies, and entertainment are available to them anytime and anywhere. They have always had food delivery, digital map directions, videos and music, and a cloud full of information always at their fingertips. They were raised talking into devices, accessing apps, posting pictures, videos, and music. Everything in this time is new! Even Hollywood is changing and the new Hollywood is about diversification!

Bringing something new and diverse to music is Reach Records artist WHATUPRG, whose name is synonymous with innovation and authenticity. His trademark combination of Latin rhythms, trap hip-hop, flawless lyricism, and captivating storytelling has enshrined him as an elite amongst his peers. When hip-hop artists express their faith, they’re often confined to the CHH genre. RG’s art is prolific, progressive, and challenges the culture in a way too eclectic way for any subgenre’s limitations. “KIDS,” the first from his forthcoming album, New Hollywood, is about setting new standards. He punches over 808 drums and haunting synths while chanting the album’s theme, “We don’t pretend more” and “kids don’t die we go up high.” In this case, high means higher to God, an exalted level.

Releasing music at one of the wildest, unpredictable times in history, RG has been processing his coming of age while battling depression. Despite personal struggles, he is determined to create beautiful music that shifts the culture. His previous EP’s Pleasant Hill and the self-titled Raul have proven his capability to channel his personal experiences and journey through faith to offer something substantial to the zeitgeist.

RG says of his forthcoming album,
“If people want to call it CHH, then this album is the gospel, according to WHATUPRG. New Hollywood is a place where you don’t have to box yourself in. You can just be yourself. Being yourself is enough.”

Through his lyrics, listeners will find a creative powerhouse who is putting himself in the context of a new generation questioning the role Christianity must play in finding personal and world peace. To all who are weary and heavy burdened, welcome to New Hollywood!

Grammy & Dove Nominated Brandon Peavy, better known as BrvndonP, recently dropped his latest EP “Outta Line”. This new release is the second in a series of 4-EPs. Each of the 4 EPs are expected to explore different genres of music. Outta Line explores his pop side.

Exploring new sounds isn’t new for BrvndonP. This artist/producer is known for his versatility. Previously known as Black Knight, Brandon is also a rapper and producer. He has produced, worked with and shared the stage with artists such as Lecrae, Andy Mineo, KB, Gucci Mane, Logic, E-40 and more. It only takes one listen to his older releases and productions to realize how versatile he can be! He plans to take us all down a new musical pathway with his newest EP and coming releases. And we’re ready for the journey!

BrvandonP is the founder of RPSMG label which houses the likes of K.Agee, X0Ellentz, JG, and Mission. He is currently signed to RMG Amplify. BrvndonP’s reach goes beyond CHH and Gospel which are both genres he has thrived in. His crossover sound has pulled a strong demand from fans who are typically found listening to artists like J Cole, Kid Ink, Travis Scott, Drake and Justin Bieber. Much like many of those artists, Brandon has become known for showing authenticity within his music.

Brandon’s sound stands apart as the only hip hop that weaves weighty topics, truth, humor, and inspiration from all genres of music into one cohesive and excellent work. It is in Brandon’s ability for self-reflection where his fans discover the honesty in his music.

Brvndon’s take is simple. “At the end of the day, I want to sit at the table of hip-hop, be respected for my artistry and have an opportunity to bring what I believe to the mix like everyone else does.”
