Reflection Music Group CEO and frontman Derek Minor dropped a visual for “It Is What It Is” which is the first single off of his upcoming EP, The Trap.

A song about survival, the video is gritty and purposeful with lines like:

Fortune 500 won’t hire me, so we create our own economy, with dope money our salary just to feed our families, I close my eyes and pray that God deliver me, churches move into our hood but they don’t come and speak.

Derek is telling the story of the neglected and underserved.

The single is available for purchase here.
